Using reflections and mirrors, I create abstracted photographs of real objects which bypass logic and aim to engage one’s deep subconscious feelings – much like music does. Viewed through glass and mirrors the scene becomes a fairyland that could not, yet does exist.

To make this happen I place mirrors and objects into a glass aquarium lit by natural and artificial light and shoot through the glass

In a political atmosphere which denies truth, insisting instead on “alternative facts”, my new photographs suggest the fragility and impermanence of what is real and the possibility that what you see is definitely not what you get.
